What is STEM?
Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) professions play a key role in the sustained growth and stability of our economy and our future. STEM is important
because it pervades every aspect of our lives. Instead of being taught what to think STEM education teaches how to think, creating critical thinkers and problem solvers of tomorrow so we can adapt to this rapidly changing world.
What is e² Young Engineers®?
At Young Engineers, we offer unique STEM enrichment programs. Students get to build various motorized LEGO® models while understanding its application to our daily lives and the problem it solves. For the parents it’s an enrichment program, for the children it’s a game. What Young Engineers delivers is e² – Education with Entertainment.
Our programs are aligned with school terms, offering classes both after school and on the weekend. We also offer a variety of different workshops like LEGO® birthday parties, school holiday camps and workshops for the senior citizens.
We believe learning can be fun!!! Young Engineers – Sutherland Shire and Botany Bay is delivering just that. We expose students to the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), equipping them with the necessary skills for the economy of the future, all while having fun with LEGO®.
We are committed to catering to the needs of the parents and helping our children build their tomorrow, today.
About the Owner:
Hi, my name is Angela. I am a mother of 3 beautiful children and I worked as a software engineer for 11 years. I loved to code for the satisfaction when you see your code come to life!
At the age of 2, my children were introduced to LEGO®.
One LEGO® present quickly grew to a full collection of LEGO® models.
When I discovered Young Engineers, I instantly became passionate about it. It relates to what I do as an engineer, at the same time it makes an impact on the kids in today’s community. What better way can your children learn than to combine the world’s hottest toy with some teaching and guidance, to help them become competent adults in tomorrow’s professions?
I am excited to show your child Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) and how fun they can be. The Young Engineers programs will help them become better problem solvers, team players, leaders and creators.
